Martin Peters England footballer died just before Christmas 2019. Whilst playing for Norwich City Football club visited Sole Bay with Mick Mills of Ipswich Town for a social event and played a few ends of bowls. He was an extremely nice person but caused a bit of a headache trying to find him some shoes to wear as he had very small size 7 feet.
